Prique Diestreza
The most main of the main characters, Prique is a driven man whose drivers licence was revoked years ago. With a screwed up sense of logic and non-existant common sense, he consistently causes trouble. Despite all this, he posesses moderate intelligence and permanent sideburns.
First name is pronounced "prick".
Taflyn Laestrai
Childhood friend of Prique and co-conspirer of his hare-brained schemes. More often then not, she's the one who has egged him on in the first place. Shares a similar sense of humour with Prique, their conversations often incomprehensible to all but the most accomplished cryptologists.
Failed the Bechel test.
Once colleague and now friend/victim of Taflyn and Prique. Drake does not understand similies, metaphors, sarcasm...anything that requires imagination. He is the straight man of the group, even though neither Prique or Taflyn are gay either. He would not have understood that joke.
Runs marathons, eats Snickers.
